Animated Cartoon
A short-form animated cartoon highlighting Kim Jong-un's nickname "Rocket Man" and his alleged Nuclear weapon capabilities.
Process
I started with sketches of the character and then built out the scenes around the character through additional sketches. I used Photoshop to style each frame and organized the project so that it would be configured for the proper animations and rigging that would be done in After Effects. In After Effects I also added textures on both the character and scenery within the frames.
Sketches
This is a collection of sketches that I created for the video to get a look and feel for the style and direction of the video. Starting with pencil sketches and then defining the sketches with marker.
